It's a mixed blessing. The problem is that if you really document everything really deeply, the first thing that happens is that someone comes there, sees all this documentation gorp and immediately decides it's way too complex.
I've got to get some kind of up front cheat sheet summary type of thing that manages both to tell them what it's really capable of, but does it without either selling the system short or being just another piece of information overload.
And people say that I really don't have anything remotely like 'marketing' on the site, and that I need to improve that. And I agree, I'm not marketer, and I always feel vaguely embarrassed when I move beyond just the technical facts. You see all these 'so and so partners with us in a grand whatever', when really they probably just exchanged business cards at a trade show. I really don't want to get into all that, but I do need to get more marketing savvy on the web site.
