Playing with a K2, mostly reading the manual so far. It has an infrared eye on the front that can be set to on or off. However, it sounds from reading about it that I can't aim a remote at it and memorize an IR code to add a new remote to the library.
What's the best way to input IR codes into this thing? I don't want to buy an RTI remote just to memorize codes (they mentioned it in the manual).
Also, I've built a demonstrator keypad with a powered computer speaker and an XM radio receiver into one of those metal camera cases. It's a neat way to wow the client with the keypad all lit up...
Can I just hook a single flasher to the IR output on the back to go to the front of the XM? I want to do simple logos and channel changes.
Thanks for the input. =Tom
