ok...
after further investigation of this mystery switch...here is what I have found...
no receptacle on the entire floor is affected by it.
when I disconnet red and black from the switch, I get constant, almost non-fluctuating 65Vac
when I re-connect it, and play with the switch, I get 65-70, then 0
it is NOT affected by the switch in the garage as I originally thought
every other switch and load are accounted for
the red and black from the same wire come into this switch, the white is wired into the rest of the common whites in the box
when I flip this switch, nothing happens...anywhere, and like I said, it has only 65vac on it...
I have one more thing to test, then I'm shutting off my main breaker, and grabbing a sawzall!
