We are also dealers for both, and the Escient's built-in switching is a HUGE edge. I would not even consider the Request as an option.
I disliked Escient for a long time for their HPNA silliness. The DVDM restored my faith in them. Now if we could just get a Sony 777ES that isn't DOA.
