I haven't had a problem with this yet.
And by the way, I only do that once the LED has
fallen off. This happens so rarely that it is
not an issue.
Number one service call: emitters falling off ( or used to be until I a) used coax seal which is also inpervious to heat or b) follow Mr2channel and place the son of a gun inside the unit. I still place a dab of coax seal to keep the emitter in place.)
