If you weren't such a dope you could hang out here and do a search for IP and see that most of us have been touting IP as the future for a long time before C4 ever shipped a product.
A lot of us here are/were C4 dealers and Crestron dealers with LOTS more experience than you have. Maybe thats why you got blasted? Or it could just be because you're a dope?
