Hot dogs with no ketchup.
Great museums.
Little pretension.
Birthplace of electric blues.
Birthplace of the sustained atomic reaction (drove by the site last week, in fact).
And the immortal "Make no small plans; they have no power to stir men's souls."

Not my birthplace, but absolutely my home town.

That being said, the traffic does stink, the weather is a challenge, and it can be costly to live here. It's worth it.

Daley's rubber stamp City Council is considering outlawing certain breeds of dogs, an idiodic idea in this town. As far as I can tell, he's not trying to get rid of bars; that would provoke riots that would make 1968 pale in comparison.
