Are you sure that it is the cable and not a signal loss or HDCP issues (been there, seen that). Termination is done with robotics and is specfic to cable and terminal. If it is the cable did you test before you did the install, it is possible that even someone stepping on the cable can take it out. We have developed an HDMI continuity testor. With this you can test all 9 circuits for continuity (NOT FOR ACTUAL SIGNAL INTEGRETY). It is recommended that you test prior to instal after you pull and before gear hook up (it is nice to know that it is NOT the cable).
Also realise that it is virtually impossible to custom lengh HDMI cables and have them certified (as each lenght, cable and terminal combination most be tested for certification).
