Polk has some new in wall subs with discrete amps (RM100 and RM200). I am using one on a new job. Pretty reasonably priced. Can't offer any feedback sicne I haven't heard it yet. It's for a subordinate area, so if it isn't monumental, it won't be a problem since they really didn't think they needed the extra LF reinforcement to begin with.
