I need to retro install a couple in wall subs in a 25 by 25 by 10 foot theater.
Want something that has serious "WOOF". anything in the $1500 range?
The EarthQuake & Sunfires are a little too much for this client $$$ wise.

Also which mono or bridgeable amp are people using. I don't do a lot of inwall passive subs but I have a job soon and I will need somthing to drive them. Does NHT still make the SA-1 or 2 ?

The Definitive Tech in-wall subs perform great. They come in 2 sizes and either size can be either a one or two sub system. They start at $1600 retail.

Put in two Bay Audio 900 subs with back boxes, power with the Bay Audio 500w power pack in parallel. They say it's good up to 10,000cu. I've heard it in smaller rooms and we usually have a lot of head room after balancing.

Real close to your price point.

I haven't heard all the other suggestions here and wouldn't advocate that they're better or worse.

1, You have a 25 x 25 room.
2, You want serious "WOOF"
3 You want all this from an in wall sub in the $1,500 range
All the subs mention above will give some bass But not serious "WOOF"

I don't know what's funnier, QQQ thread about his lucky day
or this one.

Mr Stanley, I was doing some research and this is out of you price range and may damage the home as well as the neighbors homes on either side but here is a nice low frequency reproducing subwoofer

[Link: eminent-tech.com] then click on the rotary woofer

should come up with the model 17

Thanks. Those silvers are pretty nasty looking little guys!
Triad has a nice website too!

Glackowitz,
The Eminent Technology Rotary Sub... Is that thing for real? It looks like some engineer ingested some LSD, went outside and ripped off his car's air conditioning unit & stuck fan blade on it. I've got to say that is interesting... I'll have to see if anyone has reviewed it out there!!!
