I have never had Issues with Directv and IR, we usually place the emitters inside as close to the IR receiver as we can

I actually did a H20 yesterday and had no issues as well as several HR10-250's and R15's and all of the other models previous

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.
