You know darn well that most of us actually like to drama of a good heated flame war. This forum is the last couple of months was like an accident scene that was gruesome, yet we all slowed down to watch it and hoped that something even better was about to happen.

It's been suggested that our general behavior is unbecoming to the entire industry. Maybe it is, but I'd wager that in any given time, somewhere in cyberspace there's a member of darn near every occupation who's behaving badly.

Now then......

I've commented privately before that I appreciated Daniel's hands-off style of government. I really can't stand forums that are run like Communist China. I'm all about letting the people duke it out until the last person is standing and I'm a fan of debate, even if the debate turns childish and nonsensically, when in doubt, I'll side on the side of free speech.

However.....

Several people brought Daniel into the middle of this thing, pissed him off, and now we have THIS.

Several of my friends, all good people, have been banned, and several more have quit. All because of what?

Now we're teetering on the edge of an RC vs IP war, which is just plain silly. Without Remote Central, there would be no Integration Pros, and never once did Daniel ever call out anyone for advertising IP on his site. This place is ground zero of the big bang that brought me together with a lot of really good people; many of whom I've become close friends with, some of whom I've gone on to work with and several whom I talk to almost every day.

Now were all fighting, but why? Because of one particular dilrod who comes here and winds up starting WWIII?
