when i was working in sales, i installed an IC in one of the theaters in our showroom. the adjacent theater had a crestron touch panel, so that didn't help my opinion of the IC, but it mostly deserved my hatred. i can see how it would be ok for senior citizens, but i'd much rather go with a URC MX350 up to MX980. at least you can customize the labels of some of the buttons, so there's no #1=5CH stereo monkey business going on. to me, that's not acceptable. as for the comment about using it without looking at it, most of the time i can use a pronto or RTI touch panel without looking at it either, since they're loaded with hard keys in addition to the touch panel.
