My dealer (in fact, the Sharp rep) it's quite.. obsolete!
They have no clue about what I'm talking about.. when
I mentioned the "RS232 port" he almost screamed on me
"do not touch that thing! that's for service programing
only!" :) They didn't heard of controlling the TV set
with RS232 codes..
Did you ask him "if thats the case then why is there a fully documented RS232 control protocol in the back of the user manual?"
Sounds like your rep needs to up his game......!
