@Nick-ISI, you can be a life(r) saver if you could post
here that procedure (service menu) for 37" AD5E. I've
tried hard to solve this problem (it's very annoying,
because I have a media center PC permanently connected
to my tv set) but no success. I have even tried to contact
sharp-europe tech department but they just sent me from
one department to another with no further answer..
Unfortunately having checked with engineering it seems that we have signed that we will not reproduce or distribute their "confidential" document "in part or in whole", so my hands are tied.
Quite why the document is headed 'confidential' I do not know.
Press your sharp dealer for your own copy of the letter.....
