As of yesterday, I had two Sharp LC42D64U's. I scowered this forum to find an answer. In the back of the manual Sharp does list the proper codes - they just don't tell you how important they are!

As far as Crestron is concerned (I saw the earlier post about AMX from Impaqt Post #3), sending the hex equivalent of a "0" (\x20) will NOT work. In the string for the "Enable Power On" command you MUST enter the command as it was written by many people on this forum.

The proper command is as they stated: RSPW0001.
In the Crestron command sets, i did not make it user accessable, nor do i initialize it. I do it manually ONCE (as previously stated), and now my power on command works.

Thanks to all posting on this forum. Extremley helpful and informative.
