I have a pvs1965 and I get 'no valid disc' with any region (1,2 and all region) discs I have tried. When I first got the unit I did the hack to make it region free and it worked for months hooked up to a t.v., but when I tried to set it up in my car for a road trip, I got a 'no valid disc' message. I have since tried suggestions from other sites to no avail (FAQ at mfr site, cleaning lens, moving lens mechanism back and forth). I am frustrated bec. the system works fine with audio and vcd. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Also, my unit does spin every time I insert a disc.
