I think you would be better off just learning the codes from the MZC and skipping the library. The way the MZC creates IR codes varies between firmware versions, so it's a pain to load it up and find out that only 1/3 of them work.

Since you haven't spent much time with the MZC, take time to read the manual before programming. Once you understand how it works, it's easy to use and program but if you treat it like a dumb AV receiver it can be painful to program for 3rd party remotes.
