I have a closet that currently has the following

2 Direct TV HD receivers
1 Direct TV analog receiver
Zantech IR Connecting Block
Octavia 4x4 HDMI Matrix switch

I also have 2 HD TV's and 1 analog tv and next to each tv I have an IR receiver. My problem is, whatever I do to 1 Direct TV receiver I do to all of them because all of them use the same IR codes. The Xantech IR block has 4 discreet channels, but the problem with that is you can only control that receiver from one IR receiver. The Octavia switch allows you to view any input on any or all of the outputs. Does anyone know if there is any way to change the IR codes on the receivers? Direct TV says no, but I'm hoping for some type of work around.

One way is to get a receiver from someone other then Direct TV, but I don't know of another vendor besides Direct TV. I had a TIVO at one time but they don't work with Direct TV anymore.
