Lol, you caught me mid edit. We are using the Mirror image screen behind a transparent section of the mirror glass which was custom made, so when the TV is off you see a black section where the TV is. You can't get a normally tinted mirror that will show the screen through it, it's always a darker tint and you can't 100% eliminate the mirror effect when the TV is on behind a mirrored surface. It's probably a darker mirrored tint in front of the screen that makes your image look less bright.
I have done a few of these and in a bathroom where you have normal mirrors, you have to use a transparent section for the TV or the mirror in front of the TV will never match the other mirrors in there, it's always a trade off.
