Nope...the procedure did not work with my VR-209.

In fact, my Cinema 7 will not transmit a power on/off signal when programmed with the 0314 code. Code 0313 is the only one that works. Also, for some unknown reason my C7 will not learn from the Kenwood remote.

I think your amp has more than one set of IR codes and the procedure changed the code set much like the double set of IR codes in my JVC VCR.
