1) The A/V Producer DOES have more learning capacity. However it is more limited where you can use it. The Cinema 7 gets about 28 keys, anywhere you like. The A/V Producer gets about 48, however you can only place them on the Learning keys. On both remotes you can put macros on any button.

2) I believe the Cinema 7 has less memory -- hence fewer learnable codes.

3) I believe so, but I could be wrong (I honestly haven't heard).

4) The LCD does not display the function name, just the device you're in. It also aids in programming.

5) Either "forever" or "long enough to change batteries". :-)
