The existance of 1??? device codes brings up an interesting possibility. In my Cinema6 and Cinema7 models there are only a few 4 digit device codes that actually use the first digit. If there are others in the remote that aren't listed, then the possibility that a device code that will work (or work better) for anyone's device is there, just waiting to be found.

The problem is, how do we search for a 4 digit code. Will is take 1999 (0000 to 1999) tries, or possibly 9999? Does the code search method reach into the 4th digit? Hmmmmm.
