Do any other keys actually call up the VCR's
menu?

I know the menu button records, but does the
record button record as well? Does IT call up
the menu? Does it do something else, and if so
what?

Do you know the advanced codes for your VCR?
Specifically the advanced code for the menu?

Yes, there are. One difference I heard about is
that the 7200 plays macros back faster than the
7800, which is to say that the 7800 insterts a
greater delay between keys on macro playback.
