What device code are you using? Have you tried
all the Panasonic VCR codes, or did you stop with
the first one that worked? There are 8 device
codes for Panasonic VCRs: 0162, 0035, 0077, 0225,
0454, 1062, 1162, and 1262.

Also, when you say you are using the AUX device
mode for this VCR, do you mean you are using the
AUX button, configured via 992 to be a VCR key,
or do you mean that you are actually using some
device key, perhaps the AUX key, configured as an
AUX device? If the latter, are you using device
code 0308?
