Yeah, you're right. Your notation does work, and I think the reason it
didn't work for me when I tried it the last time, was because I was
starting off with the first device listed, as my source device, the
second as my target. I must have immediately thought to do that
because that's intuitive to me, and the way the notation is described
is counter-intuitive to me. But as you say, either way will work.
