The Outlaw Audio remote is also a UEIC remote, in fact it is their Catalyst 48.

While the layout of the numeric/menu buttons is similar, I was disappointed to find out that Outlaw did not select the option learning and macro features, otherwise their remote would be a very nice remote.

That being said, when I look at the Best Buy flier each week, I do see a couple of receivers that are also using the same remote, and it's possible that they did select the optional learning and macro features, so there might be some pretty cool remotes out there.

I have heard that One For All is coming out with a new remote this November called the URC-8780, but I don't know much about it or how it works. It's supposed to be based on the Producer 8 but without the Home Theater key. I don't know if it has learning, and if it does, if it's limited by the same silly restrictions as the Prod 8. Wait and see, I guess!
