Don't know about that particular player, but many of them don't have discrete on and off codes.
Sometimes you can find another code that does turn the unit on. PLAY does this for many of them - if off it will turn on then start play; if on it will just start play. Thus a PLAY-POWER combination in a macro could server as a discrete OFF, and a PLAY-STOP could serve as a discrete ON.
