howdy guys, I'm new to this section, but I've been to the x-10 orum a few times, as well as the Universal Remote Controls section. (I primarily use an mx-500 for theater functions).

I read about Panny's TV 0637 code, but then I get lost...
I managed to borrow a RS 2104 from a friend and get the discretes for video 1, 2, 3, but would really like to get them for component 1 and 2 as well (I'll buy another OFA/RS is need be), but I read about
"TV_0637 Panasonic 128.4 (an upgrade for older remotes;currently unsure if pre-programmed in newer; NOT in 8811B,9800,9900,2103,2104)"

is there a modem/phone line connection on a OFA remote that I can upgrade the firmware? or have I missed the point entirely?

P.S. I have a Panny 56wx51 widescreen.
