I have been programming my new RS 15-2116 with the JP1 cable, KM and IR. It’s been great; I’ve added a couple of devices, a couple of protocols, some key moves and a few macros.

I understand that the macros are independent of device selections. What I want is to assign a key to run a macro only for one device, and re-use that key for something else in another device. I tried assigning a macro to a phantom key (ph8), and use key move to assign a device dependent key to ph8, but could find the EFC/HEX Cmd for ph8 in IR.
