I put the instant replay and quick skip functions on the two lower buttons ('swap' and 'move') between the volume and channel rockers. Above those two I have the 3minute skip and return to live (on 'pip' and 'freeze'). That puts all of the most used buttons right by my thumb.

I have the channel guide on 'guide' and the replay guide right next to it on 'fav/scan'. I rarely use Zones, but it is on 'Sleep'.
