Right, if you want to use learning for the missing commands, JP1 won't help.

Setting up advanced code key moves for protocols that use two-byte commands requires JP1. I haven't looked up 0160 or 1160 to confirm this, but based on what was said above, I expect 1160 is a version of 0160 but using two-byte commands. In that case, it is possible to use JP1 to create key moves in 1160 for 0160's advanced commands. (An alternate JP1 method is to install 0160 as an upgrade setup code).
