The current line of cheap OFA remotes are not worth the cost of the plastic that they are made with. Not only are they not JP1 compatible, but they don't have EEPROM chips (so they lose their memory when the batteries are out) and they don't support key mover. Cheap crap, but hey, you get what you pay for.
The cheapest OFA that's worth anything is the URC-6012w, which is $15 at Walmart, but you need to do some soldering to really made it a great remote.
The cheapest OFA that has learning and is JP1 compatible is the URC-8811 (aka URC-8810w) which goes for around $25.
You might also want to consider the Radio Shack 15-2104. This remote has both learning and JP1, and is being cleared out for under $20, so get them while you can - it's been discontinued.
The best RS remote with both learning and JP1 is the 15-2116, which goes for $29.
