Gee, that was better the second time around. Why do you need jp1 if you are only going to send discrete commands to your MX500? Just about all of the discrete codes you will ever need are listed in the OFA listing of advanced codes, and the few that may not be there probably wouldn't justify spending more to get set up for jp1 than your discrete code remote cost.
