The URC-7070 is a JP1 remote, but it's not very well supported. This is because it uses the out dated Motorola HC05 processing chip, which none of us have bothered to get up to speed on.
So while it might be worth playing around with the URC-7070 and JP1, generally speaking you'd be better of getting a new remote, like the URC-8811 ($25) or the 15-2116 ($30).
