This remote is very cheap...dropped mine on accident it hit the corner of the cofee table and gouged the touch pad bad enough I sent mine back...I had it about 6 days...cheapness was just the last straw...the backlighting being too sensitive and the humming was too much for me.

First set of batteries lasted one week...bought NiMH and they depleted fast also. Not a remote if you have kids bouncing around, the remote never shuts off. One night I sat there with no noise and watched the remote on the coffee table and the backlighting kept going on and off with no reason....WAY TOO SENSITIVE. I think it may have been the ceiling fan triggering it.
