Thanks chknlil. Mine arrives today. I'll post my impressions. I bought my Sony AV-3000 to replace a remote for my ReplayTV/tv/dvd/vcr/cable in the bedroom. It's not so easy to use lying down with a wife on one arm but I'm getting used to it. If it's not a lot easier I'll probably return it and get another AV-3000. It sure does have a powerful IR transmitter and I love that.
