I'm actually happy it does not have the auto-on when you switch to a component since sometimes I want to switch channels on my cable box while I'm watching TV through ReplayTV. If it had auto-on then it would be turning my cable box off (or my Replay off when I switched back to it). I am worried about the size. Can you use it one handed comfortably? I can use my Sony AV3000 one handed, but not comfortably.

Can't you have a couple of pages of buttons for each device? I'm concerned to hear that you are running out of buttons. It seems to me that it has MORE buttons than the Sony 2000/3000s.
