Well nothing like asking a question that's been asked a bazillion times! Me bad.

Okay so I'm looking at jp1? Don't mind doing this but its a little scary.

So the steps are program the 2116 by using the learning functions.

Then download the memory of the 2116 to my computer.

Then reupload the "learned" codes back to the 2116 so as to have the newer codes be the default codes to save memory and have the remote be customized?
