Thanks for the additional help. I may try the hex form to see if I can do this. The problem is that I already have a 5-device protocol upgrade using the device combiner protcool. I can add one more, I guess. I again wouldn't know which fixed data and which protocol ID are the best to use. Eliminating the one from Devices4, there are still the "Official" versus the "advanced" for TIVO and they have slightly different protocol IDs. If I decide to do key moves, I can probably get the HEX codes from one of the PVR protocols already in the Yahoo group.

In any event, thanks for help from everyone. I will see what I can do, and if I have further questions, I will proceed to the JP1 forum.
