The OFA instructions for the 9960 aren't very
good. I hope you've found good instructions for
deleting learned signals and KeyMoves.
When you get a second hand OFA remote, it would
be best to start with a 981 reset (which is an
undocumented, by OFA, full reset) to get rid of
anything preprogrammed that might confuse you.
I just did a factoryreset by using the code 977 (this one is documented), and after that I assigned the DVD/841 code, and it works much better!! I can use the navigation keys, etc.
Just a few more keys I have to learn my remote. For the time being I have done that via IR LRN mode, by using my old remote. It of course would be better if I could create a wav-file myself (and add the "menu" to the "menu"key, and the "search"key to the input-key). I'll have to dig into that sometime....
