And if you find that you want to copy a button, like one of the arrows, from DVD mdoe to VCR mode, you would do it like this...
1) Press and hold SET, 2 flashes
2) Type 994, 2 flashes
3) Press DVD, arrow, VCR, arrow, 2 flashes.
If you're patient, you could also try all 256 possible advanced codes (in the range 000 thru 255) for each side as this will undoubtedly reveal the missing buttons.
