To turn off the receiver, give this a try;

If you want to replace the discrete ON, with a
power toggle, subsitute 099 in step #5, then hit
power button in step #7.
I am new to all of this and am having the same problem with my RCA receiver and my OFA 6131nw.
If I do the above using the 099 code will that make the power button turn my receiver ON and OFF? Is that what toggle means?
I am confused because I am not sure why I would have to hit the SAT device button in the procedure.
Any clarification on this would be greatly appreciated.

Huh. Just saw that there was a 2nd page to this thread. Guess my above comments are moot.
SO....has there been any codes for this discovered or whatever in the recent past?
