Thanks for the input. I liked my WinCE device, but I obtained it on clearance for........$149.00. Color, 16MB, CF slot, really cool. Impossible to see in sunlight though.

I'm not sure I want to drop $500.00 just for color and get all the multimedia stuff I will never use on it. If they just had a bare bones model.

Anyway, research has found LOTS of software for Palm OS devices, including some that work great with Word and Excel.

I saw in another forum post you made a reference to Handspring, so I ass/u/me'd you were a fan. Like the label maker suggestion though.

I LOVE the PPC's, but the cost....the wife still hasn't recovered from the Pronto I bought in January. (talk about cool!!)

SUPPORT is important. My WinCE was a Philips and they dumped it, zero support.

Will let you all know what I decide.
