If you really want to, though, you can get a Brother LabelMaker and cover over the Compaq and iPaq logos and call it a HandSpring.

I'd advise the iPaq because of your heavy doc and spreadsheet use. Apparently the screen is slightly duller than the Cassiopeia (spelling?), but is still great, even in bright sunlight. And the reviewer loves the ease of use that Compaq has put into it.

Also, check out TOP 5 HANDHELDS WITH POCKET PC on CNET. They like the Cassiopeia models too.
