this reminds me of a case a few years back. We were installing a new VC in one of our plants. Part of the package is a TV, and when the install was done the screen was a total mess of greens and purples. The boxed looked a bit banged up so we told the installers to swap out the TV. A few days latter a new TV was brought in, and again the same problem. What we found out was that the store room was at the other end of the potlines and the TV was rolled through the room (for those that don't know potlines are giant electrolysis baths used to get aluminium from alumina.).
