[Link: blackberry.net]I have the 7280, but it is work that is paying for it and using it in "enterprise" mode. There are different ways of using it
web: use an account created with the cell company/RIM:
desktop: have the desktop SW redirect your e-mails to the BB
enterprise: Have a server/SW on the network that takes care of all the back end stuff
I tried web and enterprise, enterprise is definitely the way to go. It adds a lot of functionality and is the way I am using it now.

I've been a fan of the BB and RIM since I tried the 857, but unluckily it was not a good fit back then (network used was limited). Moving to the cell phone network was a smart move for them (that was not available when the 8XX came out).
I have tried the 857/850, 6750, 6280, 6510 and now 7280
for companies, I would say it is a good investment if e-mail and contact are important. For casual use, I think it is a bit expensive (i.e. per month usage charges)
