Maybe it's just me but I always thought that the Tom Baker
days seem to mix it up a little better. More going on,

Tom Baker fronted last Friday's "Have I News For You". He is absolutely barking.
As for the inside of the TARDIS, I vaguely recollect it once being described as being infinitely large, so yes, I would agree that more could be done.
