What I find puzzling
is that Damik is saying that changing the font resolves
the problem of the triangles, yet the only way I can get
the font to change in Opera (unlike in FF) is to disable
the author style, which then makes the page look horrible.
Ah, sorry... In Opera (version 9) there are two ways to change the font. The easiest is via the menu option
Tools,
Preferences or Ctrl + F12 and go to the
Advanced tab. Fonts is the fifth item down on version 9.5. "Web page text normal text" is the one to change. Of course you can play with the rest.
If you want to adjust the settings I suggest you
back up the opera6.ini file, which may exist a couple of times on your computer. Back up the latest one.
You can also change the fonts via
config. A handy process, if you know what you are doing, and good to use if you like playing as Opera is highly configurable. For fonts this process is a pain because you need to know the exact font name, although it is the place to easily reset to the default fonts
In the address bar type "
opera:config" and go to "fonts". Any changes will need to be saved
I hope this makes sense, if not try
