Thanks for taking the time to send the screen shots. Personally I think the table frames are in the eye of the beholder. Opera renders them thicker and probably not as cleanly as Firefox. However the triangles are chalk and cheese, Opera seems to cut the point off, which is due to the default font. Change that and they look as good as Firefox. But the point for most users would be - why bother!
